Watering the flowers without looking

On Saturday 22nd June, thousands and thousands were gathered in Taksim Square and surroundings. They brought red carnations to commemorate those who died and injured during the protests.

Police was quiet for a while but then attacked again with tear gas and (dyed and plain) pressurized water because the protesters were not leaving – even though we’ve been told there was a very short time between the police’s warning to disperse and the start of their attack.
